Kraken rolls out its NFT marketplace in an exciting launch beyond its beta phase. The cryptocurrency exchange announced its new platform on Thursday, which comes packed with exciting features and opportunities.
With the official launch of Kraken NFT, the platform has expanded its spectrum of NFT collections from 70 to more than 250 available options. In addition, it has integrated the Polygon network and added the coveted collectible avatars from Reddit. Since its beta debut last November, Kraken NFT has added top-tier projects, such as CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club, to cult favorites, such as Mfers and CrypToadz.
The platform also offers a wide range of themed collections, from inspiring anime creations, such as uwucrew and DigiDaigaku, to pixel artworks like Nakamigos and Solana Monkey Business. Dismantling the myth that NFTs are exclusive to the wealthy, Kraken offers hundreds of NFTs at prices under $100, allowing a wider audience of enthusiasts access to these fascinating digital pieces.
As mentioned in the beta launch announcement, Kraken NFT does not charge gas fees for transactions on its platform. Also, to remove barriers to entry for the uninitiated in the world of cryptocurrencies, Kraken NFT has simplified the process of buying and selling NFT, eliminating the need to set up a web wallet3.
The platform gives users the flexibility to transact using their preferred payment method, either cash or cryptocurrencies. Sellers have the freedom to choose the currency in which they wish to list their NFT, and buyers can conveniently bid with either over 200 cryptocurrencies or via cash payment options.
In a celebration of the platform's launch, Kraken NFT has partnered with the Formula 1 Williams Racing:link Formula 1 team, giving NFT holders the unique opportunity to have their digital artwork displayed on the rear wing of a Formula 1 car during a race this year. Those interested can join the Kraken F1 fan club for a chance to win this exciting prize - imagine being part of the speed and excitement of Formula 1 with your very own NFT on the track!
