A synthesis about Mutant

Mutant Ape Yacht Club is a collection derived from Bored Ape Yacht Club and has achieved an exorbitant success compared to other derived collections, it has even surpassed its mother collection BAYC, positioning itself in the first positions between March and April 2022.

The creators of this collection have sent a "serum" in NFT format to each of BAYC's 10,000 NFT owners, the parent collection, so by applying this "serum" to the original asset they can create a new NFT to be incorporated to the Mutant Ape collection. In addition, the creators of these collections have initialized this collection with 10 thousand NFT, which added to the 10 thousand serums delivered to apply to the assets of Bored Ape add up to a total of 20 thousand NFT for Mutant Ape Yacht Club.

What's interesting about all of this is that an owner of a BAYC NFT, the parent collection, can additionally purchase a serum and apply it to their original asset to create a new derivative asset in the Mutant Ape set that will give the Apes other traits that they undoubtedly will increase its value in the market. The serums are sold on the OpenSea market also in NFT format. At the moment there are 3 types of serums that applied to the same Ape will create a new one in Mutant Ape with different characteristics.
