Binance, verification questionary before making withdrawals
Binance, one of the most important cryptocurrency exchanges, has implemented a security questionary that must be answered before making the first withdrawal from its centralized wallet to a wallet with self-control of our funds, such as Metamask.
This questionary should be done only once since the account was opened and/or since this security measure has been implemented, generally only for the first withdrawal, although it may be required to answer it again in the future.
Unfortunately, scams in the world of cryptocurrencies are the order of the day and many inexperienced people fall for online traps or scams. Because of this, Binance is committed to user security and that is the reason for implementing these measures that in turn help the experience and knowledge of its users.
They invite us to answer the following questionary as a necessary requirement before confirming the sending of our cryptocurrencies to our self-control wallet, such as Metamask. This questionary may appear only once, but it may be requested again:
1. They launch a risk warning: "To maintain the security of your assets you must complete a verification questionary before making withdrawals", to press "Confirm"
2. If someone claiming to be from "Binance Customer Support" asks you to log in to your account or transfer funds, would you do as they ask? . Clearly the answer is "NO", to select and press "Next"
3. What would you do if you saw someone in the community posting high investment returns, airdrop and bonus news, and then asked you to wire money to a designated address?
A. First transfer a small amount to see if you can receive earnings, airdrops or bonuses.
B. Directly transfer a large amount in order to receive more winnings, airdrops or bonuses.
C. I do not believe in any events that originate outside of the official Binance website.
D. Ask other members of the community if this is a real event.
Clearly the answer is “C. I do not believe in any event that originates outside of the official Binance website” , we select and press “Next”
4. Would you collaborate with someone who, under various names, asks you to download screen sharing software and then walks you through the process of sharing your screen and withdrawing coins to an unknown wallet address? . Clearly the answer is “NO”, we select and press “Send”
