Save and enjoy, the new way to book rooms at Casa de Campo
Imagine arriving at Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic and being greeted by the staff with a smile and a personalized NFT that gives you access to a room at discounted rates. Thanks to an innovative partnership with startup Pinktada, Casa de Campo now offers guests the option to purchase room night tokens (RNTs) with NFTs, allowing them to save money and gain flexibility in their travel plans.
This arrangement not only benefits travelers, but also hotel owners, as it gives them revenue certainty while allowing them to maintain flexibility for their guests. Pinktada co-founder Mark Gordon explained that this new way of booking rooms is revolutionizing the traditional booking system and creating a token marketplace that allows travelers to buy and sell their room night tokens at any time.
Founded in 2020 and launching in early 2022, Pinktada received a $2 million seed round from venture capital firm TGV4 Plus and has expanded its hotel booking system to Mexico, San Francisco and Hawaii. Now, thanks to its partnership with Casa de Campo, travelers looking for a unique experience can enjoy Pinktada's services in the exotic Dominican Republic.
